A Brief History Of The Company

1969

Mr. Honesto C. Cabacungan, Sr. and Mrs. Rizalina C. Cabacungan, started planting rubber on the family farm at Bulatukan, Makilala, North Cotabato with initial financial assistance from Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP).

1979

He established a water-powered processing plant that produced Pale Crepe 1 from his 24 hectare rubber farm. Processing latex remarkably increased the family income from the rubber farm.

1982

A bigger plant, the August 24 Rubber Processing Plant was established producing a monthly output of 75 tons 2x Brown. Cuplumps were purchased for its processing plant from the Province of North Cotabato.

1992

The single proprietorship changed to a corporation, hence DAVCO DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. DAVCO Development Corporation has invested abroad and is presently the major stockholder of PT DAVCO Sendawar Industri, a Ninety-Five Percent (95%) Filipino owned Corporation, organized under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. PT DAVCO is engaged in the processing and trading of natural rubber in Indonesia.
